SpellCraft
Tulleys Escape Rooms & Games
A large, theatrical magical adventure with real ambition, strong spectacle and enough puzzle volume to keep seasoned teams alert. It is playful rather than grim, but the scale, split-path structure and standout set pieces give it proper destination-room appeal.

Big Magic, Bigger Stakes
SpellCraft is Tulleys doing the grand fantasy thing properly: a lavish, story-led build with real theatrical flair, a strong sense of scale and a world that feels purpose-built to pull you in. The rival witches, split-path structure and bright magical tone give it more identity than a generic spell room, and the presentation is clearly the main event here. It is the sort of room that wants to impress from the moment you step inside, and largely succeeds.
This is not just scenery with a few token puzzles. SpellCraft is busy, varied and clearly designed for teams that like to keep moving, dividing up tasks and working in parallel. The best teams will enjoy how much there is to do, and how the room keeps shifting as you progress. It is, in the best sense, a room that stays lively rather than neatly linear.
The strongest warning is for small groups. Pairs are likely to feel stretched, while three to five players should get the most satisfying balance of pace and control. The puzzle mix sounds broad rather than ultra-deep, with some familiar lock-style work alongside more imaginative mechanics, so this is best approached as a substantial adventure rather than a pure brain-bender.
It also appears to have a few rough edges. Signposting is not always as clean as it should be, and there are occasional reports of tech hiccups, which matters in a room that leans so hard on spectacle and mechanism. Even so, the overall verdict remains strong, because the ambition and visual payoff are doing a lot of the heavy lifting.
For players who want atmosphere, volume and a proper fantasy world to lose themselves in, SpellCraft is an easy room to recommend. It is especially well suited to mixed groups and experienced teams who enjoy being busy, and less ideal if you want elegant, tightly signposted puzzle craft above all else. If you are heading to Crawley for one of Tulleys’ most distinctive games, this is a serious contender.
SpellCraft is a spectacle-first fantasy room with real scale, strong production values and enough puzzle density to keep experienced teams properly occupied. Its split-path structure, multi-area flow and theatrical presentation make it feel like a full event rather than a neat sequence of locks.
A lavish, story-led build with real theatrical flair, packed with clever moments and a strong sense of stepping into another world.
There is a lot going on here, and the best teams seem to relish how busy and varied it feels from start to finish.
It is not flawless, with some players flagging patchy signposting or the odd tech hiccup, but the overall experience still lands as a standout.
