Nethercott Manor
Tulleys Escape Rooms & Games
A sprawling haunted-manor escape with serious atmosphere, dense puzzle content and a clear tilt towards experienced teams. It is creepy rather than full horror, but the scale, low light and constant sense of unease make it one of Tulleys’ most ambitious games.

A Manor Sized Challenge
Nethercott Manor is Tulleys at its most ambitious, a sprawling haunted-house escape with genuine presence and a striking sense of scale. From the first moments, it feels less like a standard room and more like an escape manor, all low light, eerie sound and gothic dressing that keeps the atmosphere taut without tipping into full horror.
This is a room for experienced teams who enjoy serious puzzle density. There is a lot to clear through, and the game clearly rewards dividing up tasks rather than huddling over a single thread. The best teams will treat it as a proper working session, not a casual wander through a spooky house.
The challenge is not just volume, but attention. Hidden mechanisms and subtle openings mean alert teams do better than fast ones, and the odd dexterity or physical task adds another layer of friction. Two players can tackle it, but they will be working hard for every inch, and larger groups have the clearest advantage.
Atmospherically, it lands very well. The scare factor sits in creepy, mildly unsettling territory rather than outright fright, so it should suit players who want tension and occasional jumpy moments without a full scare attraction. One fair summary is that it is “packed to the rafters with puzzles”, which captures both its appeal and its pressure.
The main caveat is the story. The premise is strong, but the narrative does not always feel as developed as the set deserves, so this works better as a dramatic puzzle gauntlet than a character-led mystery. If you want something big, theatrical and properly demanding, though, it is exactly the sort of room worth travelling for.
Nethercott Manor is an ambitious haunted-house build with a strong sense of scale, heavy puzzle density and a room that rewards constant alertness. It feels closer to an escape manor than a conventional game, with low light, sound, hidden mechanisms and a persistent gothic unease.
A vast, beautifully dressed manor game with atmosphere to spare and a real sense of scale.
This is loaded with puzzles, so the momentum barely lets up once you get going.
The narrative is thinner than the surroundings, but the setting leaves a strong impression.
