Egyptian at Escape Room Centre in Blackpool is an old-school tomb adventure that knows exactly what it wants to be. Pharaoh Horus’s Pyramid of Mysteries gives the room a clear, story-led frame, and the experience leans into atmosphere and character rather than mechanical showboating. The theme carries it well, and the host really sells the experience.

What matters most here is how welcoming it feels. The flow is straightforward, the guidance sounds generous, and the room is built to bring newer teams in without fuss. That makes it a sensible pick for families, first-timers, and mixed-ability groups who want a themed game that is easy to settle into.

The trade-off is that puzzle fans may find it light. The game appears to favour observation and simple logic over intricate contraptions, with a few moments that can feel awkward or less polished.
